FOOD

Food plays an important role in deciding how healthy we are...we are either on or off depending upon how, when and what we eat.

Eat healthy and stay healthy. What does it mean?

Eat to stay healthy.
We have to take food only when we are hungry. Be it a fresh crunchy green salad or a hot cinnamon bagel !! Food taken when not hungry is not digested by the body. Simply because...our digestive system is not ready with all the enzymes that are necessary for digesting the food. Not feeling hungry indicates that what we took lastly has not been digested and absorbed by our body yet.

What is hunger? Why do we feel hungry?
The depletion of life force particles (and hence the bio magnetic energy) in our body is felt as hunger. As we know, our body is built up of millions of individual cells that are held intact by the bio magnetic force. This bio magnetic force is used up as we talk, walk, work, watch television and even when we are sitting idly. Remember that all the actions we do are performed by groups of cells. When the level of the bio magnetic force reduces below a particular level, the cells intimate us that they are out of fuel, prompting us to do something to refill the bio magnetic energy. This is felt by us as hunger.
Wow...what a lovely arrangement that god has made to sustain our body. And this is when all the enzymes required for digestion are secreted.

How much to eat?
Our body will tell us how much to eat. An active calorie burner (one who does more physical work) will need more and a slow burner(sedentary) will need less. That's it. An active worker gets depleted off the bio magnetism faster and wants food earlier than a slow worker who burns calories rather slowly. So the key here is to eat as much as one wants to carry on with his work for at least four hours and not taking second helpings in between. This is to allow complete assimilation.

When to eat?
Eating with a schedule will not help. The only thing to be kept in mind is to eat only when hungry and not according to the clock timing or whenever tempted by food. Food taken when not hungry disturbs the digestion and absorption of the food that was previously taken. The digestive system is stunned because of this new food, it stops digesting the food that was there already, simply pushes it to the excretory system and attempts to digest the new food. This causes a sluggishness in the body, because it is deprived off the nutrients from the food. So the body increases in size due to the accumulation of undigested glucose in the cells, a starting point for various diseases. Improper digestion is the root cause of all the diseases in our body.

Equally important is avoiding starving. Yes, taking food immediately when hungry is as important as avoiding food when not hungry.

How does the food taken when not hungry affect our body?
The food taken when hungry, is digested properly and absorbed by the cells of our body. The food taken when not hungry is a burden to our digestive system.
Firstly, it affects the absorption of the food taken previously.
Secondly, our body puts in all its stored energy to try to digest the new food. when overeating becomes a habit, our body spends all its energy in trying to digest it or if not possible, eliminate it. In due course the digestive system loses its capability. It finds it hard to digest even a simple food. And other systems in the body are deprived off the essential energy and nutrients, hence become weak. We can notice that hefty people are weaker than thin people.

To put it in a nutshell, food when taken in limit and method (when, how and how much) is digested by our body and the food that is not taken properly digests our body.
